Sol Snyderman is the engine at Perfect Power. He brings his expertise as a certified FAA powerplant rated mechanic and engine builder to the realm of high performance Porsche cars. Things come out the way they do here because if Sol drives a car and he likes it, then it’s pretty much guaranteed that you will too. Nobody is pickier about how a car drives. Only a few people know the 911 as intimately.
Beth Snyderman has been at Perfect Power since the very beginning. She is the high octane fuel in the tank and without her the Perfect Power engine would stop running. With Beth in the driver’s seat, we are always a well-oiled machine.
Although she is both the office manager and the bookkeeper, some say that she can be found in the shop late at night, rebuilding mechanical injection pumps.
Bryan MacMillan started working at Perfect Power in 1985. His broad experience ranges from performing all aspects of mechanical work on the early 911s to diagnosing complex electronic problems on newer Porsches, Audis, BMWs, Mercedes and pretty much any modern vehicle.
John Simpson started at Perfect Power in 1993. He is far too valuable at fixing the older cars for us to allow him to work on the newer ones! He routinely solves the problems that other shops have given up on. He rebuilds and tunes any carburetors to perfection. John also rebuilds all of our gearboxes.
Patrick Olsen is our youngest mechanic. He started at Perfect Power when we moved to Buffalo Grove in 2007. He is a national karting champion and is surprisingly well-versed in mechanical and electrical repairs. He is as competent at setting up a chassis and working on suspension as he is at setting cam-timing or finding an electrical gremlin. One of these days you will see him driving a Porsche for us at a PCA event.
Andrew Ziec is one of those guys who loves to make beautiful things. In fact he likes to make the tools that he needs to make those beautiful things. Guys like Andrew are rare today and that’s why we’re so happy he has joined our Perfect Power family. The scale of our future custom builds has widened dramatically due to his skills. He works sheet aluminum like it’s pizza dough! I see 911 aluminum body panels in our future!!
Nik Lochmatow joined Perfect Power in 2016. Working in the front offices, he has already become a key piece in the puzzle that makes Perfect Power who we are. Nik handles customer service, schedules work, orders parts and does at least half of Sol’s job and half of Beth’s.
Some people come to Perfect Power just to meet Dodger. If you haven’t been here before, Dodger and Roly can’t wait to impress and entertain you!
